Managers become extra annoying when it is estimation time. They always wanna know how much time will it take, what effort you will need, if there are any blockers, etc.
Why do they do what they do?
Greater sense behind all manager’s actions is MONEY.
It may not seem this way but the actual goal of every good manager is efficiency. They pray about it like the ancient people to God.
The work of management is to be efficient. Otherwise, there is no profit in keeping managers, so they lose their jobs.
Efficiency = Money
The better a company’s processes work, the more money it earns.
